Plagiarism Screening Policy

Insuficiencia Cardiaca is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics. To ensure the originality of submitted manuscripts, the journal employs Turnitin as its primary plagiarism detection and similarity screening tool.

Authors are required to submit a Turnitin similarity report at the time of manuscript submission. The editorial office may conduct additional plagiarism checks during the review and publication process to verify the originality of the work.

Submitted manuscripts are evaluated for text similarity, duplication, self-plagiarism, inappropriate citation practices, and potential ethical concerns. Manuscripts exhibiting unacceptable levels of similarity or evidence of plagiarism may be returned to the authors for revision, rejected outright, or subjected to further investigation in accordance with COPE guidelines.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are original, properly cited, and free from any form of plagiarism, including duplicate publication, redundant publication, and unauthorized reuse of previously published material. The journal reserves the right to reject any manuscript that fails to comply with its plagiarism screening requirements or ethical standards.

By submitting a manuscript to Insuficiencia Cardiaca, authors confirm that the work is original and that an appropriate plagiarism assessment has been completed prior to submission.
